The meeting of the Chairman of the Board — Rector Yersin Zhunussov with students of the foreign department was held on January 30, 2020. The meeting was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Board (Provost) Fazil Serdar Gurel (Fazıl Serdar Gürel), Director of the Department of Academic Work A. Zhunussova, Dean of School Medicine L. Pak, Vice-Dean for Academic Work A. Uristemova, methodologist of School of Medicine A. Omarova, and methodologist of the Department of Quality Control of Medical Education A. Prokazyuk.
The Chairman of the Board — Rector emphasized the importance of the meeting with students of the foreign department, was glad for previous academic year 27 graduates of the foreign department passed MCI exam on the first attempt in December, 2019. In the end of his speech, he shared his plan for next 2020-2021 academic year.
Fazil Serdar Gurel (Fazıl Serdar Gürel) gave information about educational programmes in Turkey, answered to their questions.
Methodologist of the Department of Quality Control of Medical Education A. Prokazyuk told the students about adventures and features of the new system of mark KEYPS.
Dean of School of Medicine L. Pak noticed last changes of Law “On migration” in particular, “General conditions for entry, leave and stay of immigrants”. The students of the 5 course got special attention. Dean informed them about the graduation exam timetable. The students got answers for their questions.
At the end of the meeting the actual topic about Coronavirus for today was considered by Assistant of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology A. Tokayeva.
