On March 7, 2020, the fourth session of the school “Basic surgeon skills” was held at the Department of Topographic and Clinical Anatomy named after prof. N.A. Khlopov, together with the Student government. The theme of the fourth lesson was “Basic methods of connecting tissues. Principles of wound suturing: (nodular, continuous sutures, cosmetic sutures)”, which covered in detail the issues of the theoretical and practical part, where students got acquainted with the surgical set of tools for applying and removing stitches. The students were trained in basic methods of tying knots (female, marine, surgical) and methods of connecting tissue. Students studied and practiced their skills on biological material. They were also introduced to the principle of operation of the EHVCH device (coagulator).
