On 03.10.2022, a curatorial hour dedicated to the “Elderly Day” was held at the department. This event was prepared and conducted by interns of group 602 of the GPr under the leadership of the department’s head, m.s.d., prof. A. A. Dyusupova and the curator – T.I. Terekhova. Interns of the 6th and 7th courses of the GP, who are studying at the department, were invited to the curatorial hour.
Interesting material was prepared about the history and importance of this holiday. The Elderly’ Day is celebrated on October 1, the holiday is international. This date wasn’t chosen by chance, there is a certain symbolism: autumn, like old age, is the golden time of our life. Ensuring a decent old age has become a topic that concerns all countries of the world. Representatives offered various options and exchanged experiences. The UNO didn’t ignore this initiative and proposed its own action plan. So in 1990 there was an international holiday dedicated to the problems of the elderly.
