The cycle of advanced training in the specialty “Laboratory diagnostics”

In the period from September 12, 2022 to September 24, 2022, the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine named after Professor Pruglo Yu.V., on the basis of the RSME branch of the CFE of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Institute of Forensic Examinations in the Abai region, conducted a cycle of advanced training for employees from Astana, Aktobe, Karaganda, Almaty, Petropavlovsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, Turkestan, Shymkent, Kostanay, Uralsk, etc. specialty “Laboratory diagnostics” on the topic: “Topical issues of laboratory diagnostics in the forensic medical service”. The teachers were: MD, Professor Shabdarbayeva D.M.; chemist-toxicologist of the highest category, assistant of the department Melnikova I.Yu.

The theoretical part of the training took place in the form of lectures and seminars, according to the calendar and thematic plan. The practical part was held in the relevant departments directly with teachers and experts. Laboratory assistants of the medical-criminalistic department showed skills in working with tracological research methods, in conducting ballistic, anthropological research methods, skills in mastering the technique of instrumental research methods, in conducting research in soft X-rays, knowledge of the methodology of working with laboratory equipment and equipment, etc. With the laboratory assistants of the chemical and toxicological department, the cadets had the opportunity to participate in the preparation of documentation of the chemical and toxicological department, to work with modern equipment of the chemical and toxicological department. Laboratory assistants of the forensic biological department conducted training for conducting forensic biological studies, had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the rules of registration of the department’s documentation, etc.

At the end of the training, 51 students who successfully passed the final control were issued and awarded certificates of advanced training. The cadets noted the good organization, the high skill of teachers and lecturers, the possibility of receiving handouts and asked to conduct further studies in the university.[/vc_column_text]
