On 17.10.2022, under the leadership of the head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology of SMU, NCJSC Moldagaliev T. M. and assistant Almagambetova A. A. with students of the group 5108 of GM on the eve of the celebration of the Republic Day a charity event was held to provide social assistance. Under this event targeted assistance was provided to Bakumenko N. K. She worked in a Psychiatric dispensary from 1967 to 2012 (44 years). She has a medal for labor valor, diplomas and letters of thanks from the City Party Committee. In 1978-1980 she studied at the University of Marxism – Leninism.

The purpose of the campaign is to attract students’ attention to the problems and difficulties faced by people in need of social assistance. Showing courtesy and participation to older people is a desire to once again extend a helping hand to those who need attention. Students took an active part in the action.

The action motivated the students to be sensitive, benevolent, humane and positive thinking. Elderly people need to be helped and respected – “Let the age be precious to people”.[/vc_column_text]
