On November 8, 2022, within the framework of the Silver University project, a computer training course “Fundamentals of Digital Literacy” was launched. The teacher of the Department of General Education disciplines of the course of information and communication technology A. Bukataeva conducted a training on working with electronic gadgets. The purpose of the course is to assist senior citizens in mastering the skills of working on a personal computer. During the event, the project participants worked out skills on using the capabilities of mobile devices to communicate through social networks.
In the future, the course program will include practical classes, master classes and consulting trainings aimed at teaching citizens the basics of computer literacy, searching for the necessary information using the Internet, developing skills in using the Internet as a means of communication, developing skills in using the Portal of Public Services, etc.
