On 08.11.2022, the scheduled meeting of the teachers of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Raisov T. K. with high school students and graduates of secondary school No. 47 named after. Akhmet Baitursynov took place. Students wishing to get admission in our university asked their questions about their main specialties, including terms of study, tuition fees, and received detailed information. The events held within the walls of the university were highlighted, as well as information about the active work of student organizations, student scientific societies and academic mobility were reported. During the meeting, the content of the special curriculum for secondary school graduates for admission to the SMU was explained. During the meeting, the students were also introduced to the work of the preparatory department of the “Medical Foundation”, which are led by teachers of the departments of the SMU. Specially prepared brochures on career guidance work intended for graduates of secondary schools were distributed to high school students. The content of the program interested the students.
