November 8, 2022 teacher of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Raisov T. K. Musapirova A. B. with their curatorial group 1104 of the specialty “General Medicine” visited the Regional Museum of Regional History of the city of Semey.

One of the oldest and largest museums in Kazakhstan, the Semey Regional Museum of Local History and Local Lore, was established in 1883 on the initiative of political exiles from the People’s Volunteers. The museum has more than 108 thousand storage units in the form of collections on archeology, paleontology, ethnography, zoology, mineralogy, numismatics, photographic documents, natural history and historical household items.

The key purpose of visiting the museum was to arouse students’ interest in learning about the history of our region, to instill in the younger generation a sense of patriotism and love for their country.

Students received a lot of interesting and useful information for themselves.
