On November 10, 2022, the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation held a meeting of the student scientific circle on the topic: “Features of surgical operations for elderly patients.” Speakers: Toktarova A.M., Mukhamadiev S.S., scientific supervisors – Abdrakhmanov S.T., Auenov M.A. Students of groups 4313, 4314, 4125 took part in the meeting of the student scientific circle.

More than 25% of this category of persons have 2-5 chronic diseases of the cardiovascular, nervous, endocrine, hematopoietic, bone and joint systems, respiratory organs, digestion, etc.

Currently, there are many features and problems of surgical interventions for elderly patients, such as the development of complications in the immediate and long-term postoperative period. The purpose of the report was to inform and give detailed information to students.
