On November 15, 2022, within the framework of academic mobility of teaching staff, a master class organized by the Department of General Medical Practice of Semey was held for students of the school of a young teacher on the topic “Methods of psychodiagnostics of patients’ adherence to treatment”, conducted by PhD, associate professor of the Department of General and Special Psychology with a course of pedagogy of Ryazan State Medical University Yakovlev V.V.
The problem of patient adherence to treatment is one of the key issues in healthcare. Non-compliance with the doctor’s recommendations, violation of drug regimens leads to deterioration of the patient’s condition, which ultimately increases the financial burden on the entire healthcare system of the state. Doctors also suffer from incompetent patients — they stop feeling satisfaction from work, feel their “uselessness”, which inevitably leads to syndromes of chronic fatigue and emotional burnout. As part of the master class, Vasily Vasilyevich demonstrated to the students of the school the “Test questionnaire of adherence to treatment” developed by the teaching staff of the profile department of the Ryazan State Medical University.
