On December 06, 2022, the grand opening of the International Scientific and Practical Online Conference “MODERN PARADIGMS OF HIGHER EDUCATION” was held, co-organized by NCJSC “Semey Medical University” (Semey, Kazakhstan), FSBEIHE “Transbaikal State University”, a regional center for inclusive education (ZabSU) (Chita, Russia). The meeting was held on the ZOOM platform, the audience included representatives of the administrative and managerial apparatus of universities – conference participants, speakers, faculty, resident doctors, interns, and practitioners. The conference was opened by the chairman of the organizing committee of the conference Mukanova Dinara Adletovna, candidate of medical sciences, head of the department of simulation and educational technologies, Semey NCJSC “Semey Medical University”. Afterwards, Chairman of the Board – Rector of NJSC “SMU”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Altai Akhmetkaliyevich Dyusupov greeted and noted the importance of holding joint scientific and practical conferences. Then, Svetlana Efimovna Starostina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities, Transbaikal State University, delivered a welcoming speech. At the end of the solemn part, the work of breakout sessions began: “Higher education at the present stage: prospects and challenges”, “Postgraduate and additional education” and “Inclusive education in higher education.” The moderators of the sectional meetings were employees of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after the Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.A. Nazarova, Semey NJSC “Semey Medical University”, director of the Regional Center for Inclusive Education of ZabSU and head of the department of psychology of education, ZabGU. More than 70 people from 16 regions of Kazakhstan and from a number of near and far abroad countries such as Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, Turkey, Serbia took part in the conference. In total, 60 reports were presented to the attention of the audience. The working languages of the conference were Kazakh, Russian and English. We would like to note the cognitive and informative presentations of all conference participants. At the end of the conference, a resolution was adopted.
