On December 5, 2022, at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, students of group 3203 of the specialty “General Medicine” and the curator of the group Zhazykbaeva L.K., held a meeting with associate professor of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases Tokabaev Azamat Kozhagulovich.

Being a doctor and a teacher with a rich professional and life experience, Azamat Kozhagulovich told students about how he became a cardiologist and associate professor, gave some advice and instructions to future doctors. Azamat Kozhagulovich graduated from Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute in 1982 with a degree in general practitioner. Since 1983, after completing his internship, he has been working at the SMU, NCJSC  .Having started his professional medical and pedagogical path as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Internal Diseases. In 1990-1991 . – defended his PhD thesis, after which he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Working at the Department of Internal Diseases to this day, Azamat Kozhagulovich has 40 years of scientific and pedagogical experience. At the same time, he consults patients at the 2nd City Hospital of Semey. In 2010 and 2011, he became the winner in the nomination for the title of “Best Associate Professor of the University”, was awarded the badge “Excellent Health Worker”.

Students asked many professional questions about the work of a teacher and a doctor.
