On February 08, 2023, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology together with the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology in the House of Students №2 held a round table on the topic: “Strengthening the neuropsychic sphere and increasing stress tolerance”. Participants: students of 3, 4, 5 courses of GM, dentistry, interns, foreign groups 3638, 3143, curatorial groups 5108, 5106 GM.

Organizers: assistants of the Departments of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A., Maukaeva S.B., Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunology.

The purpose of the meeting: to help students to abandon behavior that is inappropriate here and now, to teach them to control themselves and take responsibility for the consequences of their actions, to independently determine their fate, liberation from coercion, the achievement of independence and autonomy by the student. During the psychotherapeutic training, the methods of transactional analysis and body-oriented therapy were used, which today are among the most popular modern methods of psychotherapy. As a result of the training, students learned to develop various behavioral strategies; approach problems from various winning points of view, the ability to form an emotional attitude of a successful, healthy personality. Students took an active part, entered into discussions; asked questions, got a new skill, built new relationships, using such possibilities of their soul, which they had not previously imagined. We have learned the ability to enjoy our own achievements, to be direct.

Education is the process of forming a certain positive life position. At the end of the meeting, during the next duty in the student house №2, a tour of the rooms where the students live was conducted.
