In the course of the implementation of the Silver University project, on March 28, 2023, Kapakova M.A., an assistant at the Department of Therapy of the NOA ICC and residents of the 1st and 2nd years of study in the specialty “Therapy”, a conversation was held in the State Institution “Medical and Social Institution for the Elderly and Disabled General Type of Semey” on the topic “Tactics of behavior in case of chest pains”.

• A common cause of chest pain is angina pectoris. Early detection and prevention of this condition helps reduce the risk of myocardial infarction. That is why great importance is attached to the early detection of chest pain and the correct tactics of behavior.During the conversation, patients learned about the causes and mechanisms of angina pectoris, the main symptoms, factors that provoke this condition, and the hallmarks of this condition.

During the conversation, patients received answers to their questions and received brochures on disease prevention.
