In order to expand the understanding of the younger generation about the Great Patriotic War, to foster respect for the heroic past of the country, to awaken sympathy for the older generation, to form moral qualities such as self-sacrifice, heroism, patriotism, on May 06, 2023, an educational event was organized in the Student House No. 3 of the NAO “Semey Medical University”, in the form of a conversation, on the topic “Uly Zhenis – Urpakka amanat”, under the leadership of the head of the military department, Colonel of the medical service Sh.O.Orynbasarov, the teacher responsible for the educational work of the department, lieutenant colonel of the medical service N.S.Smailov, as well as methodologist A.S.Zhumageldina.
The event was prepared in the traditional form: an information block and a conversation with students, it was a confidential communication in the audience, a discussion of the spiritual development of the individual.
During the conversation, the right atmosphere was created.
The children told about their heroic ancestors who participated in the war, about the exploits of Kazakhstanis in the harsh years, read books about the war…
Memory is not just a tribute to the glorious past. Memory is communion with the greatness of the history of the people, it is the acceptance with all my heart of responsibility for the preservation and enhancement of the greatness of the spirit and dignity of the nation.
To forget the past means to betray the memory of the people who died for the happiness of the Motherland. If a minute of silence were declared for every person who died in World War II, the world would be silent for 50 years. Many years of trials. Many years of battles. Millions of dead… And all this for the sake of one day – Victory Day…
Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer participants of the Great Patriotic War among us every day. Only a few remained alive. And all the more reverently we should show care and respect for living veterans, bow our heads and honor those who gave their most precious things for us – their lives.
And our task is not to forget the history of the feat of our people and carry it through the generations…
Eternal memory to them! Memory must live!…
