On May 12, 2023, a solemn event dedicated to the International Day of the Nurse was held in the conference hall of the at the Regional Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Abay region in offline mode.

Employees of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases, head of the department Efendiyev I.M., assistants Kumarbekova A.K. organized a congratulatory concert program.

The event was opened with a solemn speech by Yerlan Rashitovich Shakenov, Director of the Regional Center of Phthisiopulmonology of the Abay region and Efendiyev Imdat Musa oglu, Head of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases of the HCJSC SMU.

For special merits, senior and other nurses were awarded with commemorative diplomas, letters of thanks from Health Departments of the Abay region, from the trade union of healthcare workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the ceremony, resident doctors, interns of the GP took an active part. Leading resident doctor Kadyrbekova Yerkezhan 301gr.emergency therapy was described the history of the emergence of the holiday “Nurse’s Day”.
