On May 13, 2023, the staff of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases, head of the department Efendiev I.M., assistant Kumarbekova A.K. on the embankment of the Irtysh River, organized a running marathon dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the SMU, NCJSC. Students of the curatorial groups of OMF 4226,4423, 4424, 4102, 4101 groups, as well as employees of the department Mansurova A.A., Dalelkanova T.D., Smailov E.S. took an active part in the race. All participants of the marathon are divided by race distances and gender composition.

The purpose of this marathon is to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop and attract attention to mass sports in educational institutions. Running outdoors not only improves mood, but also improves the functioning of the brain, gastrointestinal tract, increases gas exchange in the lungs, strengthens the cardiovascular system and increases immunity.

According to the results of the beggar marathon, the winners of the race among children and girls were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
