On May 30-31, 2023, the Olympiad in the discipline “Rheumatology” was held in a hybrid format (online, offline) among 4th year students of the Faculty of “General Medicine” of the foreign department.

On May 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. the first round of the Olympiad took place. Students were sent 20 test questions in chats. At 2:15 p.m., the survey ended. The responses were collected and analyzed via Google Drive.

According to the test results, five students were selected who scored the highest score for passing to the II and III stages of the Olympiad:

Syed Qasira, 442; Kabir Bilal, 441; Hansraj, 459; Syed Jaffer Raza, 440; Rida Batool, 440.

On May 31 at 14.00 at the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, based on the University Hospital of NJSC Semey Medical University, the 2-nd stage of the Olympiad was held – clinical cases on the clinic, diagnosis and principles of therapy for rheumatic diseases and the 3-rd stage – a quiz.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were determined:

I place – Syed Qasira 442

II place – Kabir Bilal, 441

III place – Rida Batool, 440

Other participants were awarded certificates of participation in the Olympiad: Syed Jaffer Raza, 440; Hansraj, 459
