On June 9, 2023, the Olympiad “The best resident cardiologist” was held at the Department of Therapy in Semey among residents of the 1st year of training in the specialty “Cardiology adult, children’s”. The chairman of the jury, head of the Department of Therapy, PhD Mansurova D. A. also the members of the jury were associate professor of the department, Ph.D. Esimbekova E. I., head teacher of the department Aimagambetova A.O., head of the cardiology department No. 1 BSMP SemeyBakaeva L.M., head of the cardiology department No. 2 Nasymbekov M.R.

10 residents took part in this Olympiad, of which 6 participants from the city of Semey, 4 participants from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The Olympiad consisted of 4 stages: stage 1 – testing, stage 2 – quiz in the form of a blitz tournament, stage 3 – ECG interpretation, stage 4 – presentation of an interesting clinical case.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the 1st place was taken by resident cardiologist UatkhanovaAyauzhan, the 2nd place was taken by Kamila Raisova, the 3rd place was taken by AikynMuskenov, who were awarded diplomas and memorable prizes. ToleukhanKuatbek, RakhimovaNurgul, BakhtybayevaRahat were also awarded incentive prizes.

The Olympiad “The best resident Cardiologist” is one of the traditions at the Department of Therapy and is held annually. This Olympiad is the platform where the resident demonstrates his knowledge and skills that he has mastered during the academic year, as well as identifies the best of the best![/vc_column_text]
