The specialty “Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation” is relatively new compared to other specialties of our university. For three years, our teachers have released 2 issues of rehabilitation doctors. In the first issue -9 and in the second issue -5 young specialists. After graduation, our graduates found jobs in such cities as Astana, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey. In such a short time of work, they distinguished themselves by their professionalism and responsibility, eventually taking administrative positions of managers and directors in their workplaces. At the moment, the specialty “Physical Medicine and rehabilitation” is taught: in the second year of study – 8 residents, in the first year – 7 residents. In honor of the professional holiday, the head of the department Alimbayeva A.R. was invited to hold a zoom meeting with both graduates of the specialty “FMiR”.

The organizer of this event was the resident of the 2nd year of study Ablakimova A.E. The meeting took place on September 7 at 19:00 and it was held in the format of networking. During which the graduates, being rehabilitation doctors/ heads/directors of medical centers and rehabilitation departments, shared their practical experience, answered the questions of the resident students. Out of 30 people, 24 were present, instead of the planned 40 minutes, we spent 1.5 hours of entertaining conversation and exchange of experience. The lecturer of the department, a rehabilitologist, doctoral student Dairbekov Ernar Ertuganovich told about his recent study trip to South Korea, where he spent a month in one of the best and largest hospitals in the country under the mentorship of Korean rehabilitologists. At the end of the meeting, the head of the department, Alimbayeva A.R., congratulated her colleagues on the upcoming holiday and offered to hold such networking sessions once a month if possible.[/vc_column_text]
