From September 23 to 26, master classes on transcatheter aortic valve implantation, stent-graft implantation in the thoracic aorta and chronic coronary artery occlusions were performed at the University Hospital.

The surgeries were performed with the participation of X-ray surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, functional diagnostics doctor, which are nationally known specialists. Thus, the master classes were performed by Serik Alimbayev, c.m.s., Head of the Office of Interventional Cardiology and Radiology of the National Scientific Cardio-Surgical Center (Astana); Alexey Goncharov, c.m.s., PhD, Head of the Department of Interventional Cardiology of the National Scientific Cardio-Surgical Center (Astana), Baurzhan Azizov, Head of the Department of X-ray endovascular laboratory and residents of the X-ray endovascular laboratory.

The patients will have a recovery period. The X-ray endovascular laboratory of SMU Hospital is gaining experience and increasing its skill in performing such surgeries every time.[/vc_column_text]
