On September 7, 2023, teachers and residents of the 1st and 2nd year of study of the Department of Pharmacology named after M.N.Musin held a round table on the topic “Internet addiction as one of the mental disorders” in the House of Students No. 1.  The symptoms, stages of development, signs of Internet addiction and prevention of Internet addiction were touched upon.

At the end, a Kimberly Young test was conducted to identify a pathological addiction to the Internet, which consisted of 20 questions, each answer was evaluated in a certain number of points.

The test result showed a lack of Internet addicts among the participants and the presence of problems associated with excessive Internet addiction.  All the test subjects were ordinary Internet users.

The event was accepted by the students with great interest, at the end of the round table, the students shared their opinions, asked questions of interest, respectively, the teachers answered each of them. Following the meeting, the teachers thanked all the students for their participation and activity during the conversation.[/vc_column_text]
