On October 23, 2023, the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology held a curatorial hour dedicated to familiarization with the new provisions of the academic policy of the NAO ICC, academic integrity, internal regulations of students, the Code of ethics of students, discipline policy.

The curator of the 5108 group OM Almagambetova A.A., assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, made a speech and introduced the students to the new provisions of the academic policy of the NAO ICC. She mentioned that in order to fully master the curriculum in the discipline, the student is obliged to attend 90% of the lectures and disciplines, in case of attendance of less than 90%, the student is not allowed to take the exam.
Regarding academic integrity, she noted that if students use cheat sheets, cell
phone, iPad, smart watches, headphones, and other information
service tools during classes and exams, the answer is canceled with the subsequent
drawing up of the act of removal from the exam; the possibility
of re-selecting a ticket, re-examination is excluded, a score of “0” is given.In addition, the student is reprimanded or severely reprimanded,
depending on the decision of the commission, as for an academic violation
of category 2.
As for the internal regulations, I noticed that the student has the right to be reinstated and transferred from one educational institution to another, from one educational program to another in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized state body in the field of education and internal regulatory documents of the NAO “ICC”.
She emphasized such a clause of the Code of ethics of students as corruption offenses are a violation of category 3 behavior, and entails expulsion.
According to the discipline policy, she mentioned that if a student fails to appear at any stage of the exam for a disrespectful reason, the student is given a “0”.
