Religious extremism

On October 23, 2023, a curatorial hour was held at the Department of GMP of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of the SMU, NCJSC on the topic: “Acquaintance with religious movements, the concept of religious extremism” by the assistant of the department Aldiyarkhanova M.S.
Young people as a demographic group of society are the most vulnerable to the spread of extremism.
Extremism is a commitment to extreme views and actions that radically negate the norms and rules existing in society. It can manifest itself in the political sphere of society – political extremism, if in the religious sphere, then it is called religious extremism.
Forms of religious extremism:
• intra-confessional (aimed at deep deformation of the denomination);
• non-confessional (aimed at eliminating other confessions);
• personality-oriented (aimed at destructive transformation of personality);
• ethno-religious (aimed at the transformation of the ethnos);
• religious and political (aimed at changing the political system);
• social (aimed at changing the socio-economic system).
