International Animation Day, or World Cartoon Day, was established in 2002 and is celebrated annually on October 28th. Within the walls of dormitory #4 of NJSC “MUS”, assistant of the department of therapy Ryskenova A.E. and resident endocrinologists Ratmukhanbetova T.N.,

Sametkanova D.Zh held an event dedicated to this holiday.

A presentation was prepared describing the history and development of such a holiday as International Animation Day, and a Quiz was also conducted, including information about animated films and their characters. Students studying at NJSC “MUS” in Russian, Kazakh, as well as in English took an active part in the quiz. The event was very interesting, light and humorous, as Animation Day should be celebrated. After finishing the quiz, students were given certificates for taking 1st-2nd place.
