Students of the 1123 group of the specialty “General Medicine” made a fascinating journey into the past, visiting the museum named the great poet Abai Kunanbayev. The exposition of the museum is a unique collection of artifacts, personal belongings and creative heritage of the great poet, opening the pages of his life and work to visitors. Students enthusiastically studied the exhibits, discussed Abai’s ideas, and also asked the guides questions in order to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of that time. “It was not only a fascinating acquaintance with the cultural heritage, but also an important step in understanding what values shaped our society,” Angelina Shlenskikh, a first-year student, shared her impressions.
