In November 2023, students of group 2432 of the specialty “Pediatrics” together with the assistant of the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases Rakhimbaeva S.Zh. visited secondary school No. 16 named after. T. Amanova. The purpose of the visit was career guidance work with 11th grade students: during the conversation they talked about our university, the available preparatory courses, the features of accepting documents, the advantages of the specialty, what to expect from studying at a medical school, and also answered questions asked by future applicants. The information was presented to students in the form of presentations and booklets. The medical profession is complex, and the main task was to convey to students that there is no greater value in the world than the life of a child, human life, which doctors are called upon to protect and support. Schoolchildren showed an active interest in the information; those who chose medicine for themselves shared their stories about the decision to connect their fate with the medical profession.
