On December 16, Kazakhstanis celebrate a significant holiday for the whole country – Independence Day of Kazakhstan. It was on December 16, 1991, that the law on the Independence and State sovereignty of our Republic was adopted.

On the eve of the celebration of Independence Day on December 14, 2022, students of curatorial groups 4310, 4311 and curators of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” Kumarbekova A.K., Smailov E.S. organized and conducted a curatorial hour. The students prepared a presentation “Tauelsizdik tugyrym!”. The history of the formation of the Kazakh people before gaining sovereignty was described.
