At the Republican judo tournament among students of higher educational institutions, held on December 15, 2023, in honor of the 165th anniversary of the great philosopher Shakarim Kudaiberdyuly, judo students of the NAO IUS took part. This tournament is a prestigious competition within the framework of the Republican Judo Championships and was held for the third time. Amanzholov, Shymkent University and Shakarim University.The competitions took place in seven weight categories.

Student of group 1111OM NAO MUS Akzhunisov Adil in the weight category 60 kg. took 3rd place in the tournament, having fought four intense bouts on the mat.
