Practical healthcare assistance from interns

Interns of group 732, during the “Rehabilitation” cycle, held a preventive conversation with parents at the Early Intervention Center “Kamkorlyk” in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Today, one of the pressing problems of the population is the increase in the number of measles infections. Measles is a highly contagious acute viral disease that is transmitted by airborne droplets and can lead to serious complications such as pneumonia, meningitis, and encephalitis. And such complications can lead to death. Measles first affects the respiratory tract and then spreads throughout the body. ❗️Symptoms include high fever, cough, runny nose and a spreading rash from top to bottom throughout the body. The most effective way to prevent measles and its transmission is vaccination. The vaccine is safe and the body does an excellent job of fighting the virus. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, children receive the routine vaccine against measles, rubella and mumps (MMR) 2 times: at 12-15 months and at 6 years. On November 6, additional immunization of children aged 6 to 10 months 29 days began. On December 5, additional mass immunization of children aged 2 to 4 years inclusive began.

During the conversation, questions were raised on the topic of prevention and vaccination, protecting children from the measles virus.

⚠️Dear parents, remember! YOUR CHILD’S HEALTH IS IN YOUR HANDS. Getting vaccinated on time will protect your child from measles and help your child grow up to be a healthy citizen of our country.                                                              Doctor interns 732 Group Toktarbayeva Moldir, Halymova Akbota.[/vc_column_text]
