In order to promote the creative heritage of Abai Kunanbaev among young people of other nationalities on 8 February 2024, KAO “Medical University Semey”, Department of General Education disciplines held a regional competition “Abai Readings”.
The purpose of the competition was to glorify the literary heritage of the Kazakh people, increase the interest of students in expressive reading, and promote their creative heritage. The contest consisted of 2 stages. At the first stage Abai Kunanbaev’s poem was read by heart, and at the second stage Abai’s admonitions were read by heart. Students of Shakarima-Semey University, students of State Higher Medical College named after Kalmataev, students of Medical University of Semey participated in the regional competition.
1st place – 2nd year student of State Higher Medical College named after Kalmataev Salibaeva Amina, 2nd place – 2nd year student of Shakarima-Semey University Muhammad Usama Shahida and 2nd year student of Medical University of Semey Alina Nekhorosheva, 3rd place – 1st year student of “Medicine” faculty of Medical University of Semey Nikita Pyatikov and 1st year student of “Stomatology” faculty Huseynli Teimu, Demechanova Laniya student of State Higher Medical College named after Kalmataev.
