Last week, from February 12 to 16, the city hosted a 3 on 3 basketball sports competition among women as part of the city sports competition for employees and teachers of universities and colleges.

Our university was represented by a team that included:

Bibekova Gulimay Zhanabekovna - Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine of the NAO IUS;

Kazez Aruzhan Askarkyzy - methodologist at the School of Medicine of the NAO МUS;

Elkenova Botakoz Askarkyzy - Teacher of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medicine. Genetics NAO IUS.

Teams also took part in the tournament: University. Shakarima, ABU, ped. college and GRK. Our girls played against every team, leaving no one a chance to win, showing their skill, character and will to win.

Spartakiads among staff and teachers of universities and colleges are held annually in various sports, and this was the first time a women's basketball tournament was held. Therefore, it is especially pleasant that our girls became champions, declaring themselves clear favorites from the very beginning of the tournament!

The senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education, I.V. Selikhov, prepared and entered the team for the competition.
