The Department of General Medical Practice in Semey NCJSC “SMU” regularly conducts Health Schools in PHC (primary medical and social care) centers in Semey. Not all patients visit family outpatient clinics.

Today, the problem of metabolic syndrome, prediabetes and diabetes is widespread among the population. Therefore, the staff of the department, with the participation of interns of the 715th group of GPs (general practitioners), developed a Leaflet dedicated to the prevention of diabetes mellitus. Resident doctors used the reminder when visiting patients at home. Whenever possible, posters were posted on information stands.
