A “Speaking Club” was held for students of the foreign department on 28.02.2024. The organizers of the event were associate professor Shalgumbayeva G.M. and Assistant Saidualiyev D.N. (Department of General Medical Practice of Semey city). Communication with patients with common flu was the topic of lesson. Awan M.Ashar 5444, Muhammad Tabish 3341, Ismail Khan 3342, Haq Jiyaul 2512, Prasoon Baisla 2512 took participation in the discussion. The volunteer and assistant for the event was Dinara Apusheva, a first-year student of the dental faculty, group 1312. Club participants were provided with medical terms in Russian and English in advance and during the session practiced how to interview and understand the main symptoms of a patient with viral infections. Students expanded their abilities in understanding the grammar and peculiarities of the Russian language. Participants of the “Speaking Club”provided positive feedback.[/vc_column_text]
