02/22/2024 within the framework of the “International Conference on Emergency Medical Care, dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Z. Dyusupov” on the basis of the KGP at the Emergency Medical Hospital, a master class was held on “Interventional methods of treating cardiac arrhythmias.” During this master class, interventional arrhythmologist Tolukbaev T.S. performed a successful operation – cryoballoon ablation of the pulmonary vein ostia in a patient with a long history of arrhythmology. This procedure is one of the modern options for treating patients with atrial fibrillation. The event took place in a hybrid format; participants showed keen interest both in the operating room and on the ZOOM platform. During the master class, the moderators were the head of the department of therapy, PhD Mansurova D.A. and assistant of the PhD department Orekhov A.Yu. provided comments on the practical aspects of the procedure performed. Cardiology residents and therapists, interns, teaching staff, as well as practicing doctors of various specialties took part in the master class.[/vc_column_text]
