The fair of student scientific circles was held on 03/14/2024 at the «SMU» NCJSC, where students who are members of the SNC of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children Diseases took part. The purpose of this fair was to familiarize students with the scientific activities of each department of our university, as well as to provide them with the opportunity to participate in research and scientific conferences.
Colorful stands with the name of the department and the coat of arms were made for the fair, and the achievements of the scientific activity of the department, including diplomas, photographs and other materials, were also demonstrated. Brochures reflecting the activities of our department were also presented at the fair of student scientific circles.
The students showed keen interest in the ongoing fair, which offered them a chance to demonstrate their skills using dummies. They enthusiastically practiced intravenous injections on mannequins, striving to improve their skills and gain confidence. One of the most exciting tests was mastering the skill of recognizing various respiratory sounds in the lungs and heart tones, as well as an experiment with imitation of intestinal motility sounds. All students enjoyed learning this skill, gradually improving their skills and gaining more confidence in their abilities.
Within the framework of the fair, the student organizers attracted students to participate in scientific circles of the department, provided consultations, also talked about the neuropsychiatric development of young children and answered students’ questions.
During the fair, 14 students from different specialties expressed a desire to become participants in the student scientific circle of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children Diseases. Basically, the new members of the circle are in 1-2 courses of their studies, which makes them our youngest and most promising students.
On behalf of the staff of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children Diseases, we would like to thank 5th-year student Sagyndykova Gulnur for her active participation in organizing this event, as well as her assistants in this matter, students of the 5425 group in the specialty “General Medicine” – Maratova Gulim, Bayandy Diana, and Nazilova Meruert. It is very pleasant to see students so actively involved in the university’s affairs, and we hope that this event has become a valuable and useful experience for them. Once again, many thanks to everyone who took part!
