Under the leadership of the teaching staff of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases of SMU, NCJSC – head of the department Amrenova K.Sh., assistants Amangalieva G.M., Rakymgazieva A.S. and Muftieva G.M. students of group 3419 of the specialty “General Medicine” conducted a lesson for patients of PST No. 6 in Semey on the topic “Bronchial asthma: causes, symptoms, methods of treatment and prevention” according to the program of the school of primary medicine. The event included lectures, discussions and practical exercises.

Topic: Bronchial asthma: causes, symptoms, methods of treatment and prevention.

Results: The event participants showed interest and took an active part in the discussion of the topic. Our students demonstrated to patients how to correctly inhale drugs for the treatment of bronchial asthma, showed the basic steps necessary for a successful inhalation procedure, and explained why it is so important to follow the correct inhalation technique.

This practical demonstration was very useful for the participants of the event, as it allowed them not only to hear about the treatment method, but also to see and try it in practice.

Conclusion: The event was successful, participants received up-to-date information about bronchial asthma.
