This year, Nauryz is celebrated in a new format. In Kazakhstan, 10 days of celebration of Nauryz Meiramy were proposed this year. Each day has its own name. March 18 – “Day of National Costumes”. National clothes, a significant part of the culture and history of Kazakhstan, today remind us of traditions and values. The teaching staff of the Department of Surgical Disciplines together with curatorial groups 4213, 4212 held an event dedicated to the holiday “Day of National Dress”. In their presentation, the students highlighted in detail every detail of national clothes, their practicality and semantic uniqueness. They told us what patterns and ornaments our ancestors used to decorate their clothes. Traditional Kazakh ornaments used to serve as a kind of amulets. They protected and promised good luck, they hide meanings and signs coming from the depths of centuries. The head of the department, Ph.D. Kuderbayev, expressed gratitude to the students for the event. “By wearing national clothes, we do not just express our originality and uniqueness. National clothes are part of the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people and contain the code of the nation,” he said.
