This Sunday, March 17, 1st year students of the foreign department were on the Irtysh riverside. Maslenitsa celebrations were organized there. The ыегвутеы learned the history of the holiday. The organizers treated all guests of the holiday to pancakes-bliny and tea. All our students wrote their wishes on pieces of paper and put them in a basket for the outgoing winter. They really liked this tradition. They also liked the “Gates of Happiness” – you have to go through the symbolic gates so that happiness awaits you behind these gates. Our students also participated in various sports competitions. The students really enjoyed the celebration of Maslenitsa.
