Nauryz is a holiday of spring renewal, the beginning of a new year, which coincides with the spring equilibrium, it is a holiday of the triumph of love, fertility and friendship.
On March 19, 2024, the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov held an event in honor of Nauryz Holiday. Teachers of the department Ibraeva G.R., Galymbekov D.Zh., Elkenova B.Z., Yesentaeva A.M., Kozhakhmetova B.B., Kulzhebaeva S.R., Daneshova A.M., took an active part in the organization together with curatorial groups 1217, 1219, 1220, 1230, 1231, 1233, 1503, 1504, 1505 of “Medicine” and “Pediatry” faculties. The Head of the department associate professor Orazalina A.S., as well as the professor of the department Mynzhanov M.R., and the associate professor of the department of physiological disciplines Urazalina N.M. made a welcoming speech congratulating colleagues and students on the upcoming Nauryz Holiday.
The purpose of this event is to create an atmosphere of holiday and spring for students, to emphasize its significance at the state level, to express respect for the ethno-folklore culture and traditions of the Kazakh people, and also to show the traditions of other peoples. The holiday scenario included a presentation of a National customs, then the students showed their musical talents, and at the end of the event, all guests and participants tasted National dishes from the dastarkhan. The program showed the National traditions “Betashar”, “Besikke salu”, “Tusau kesu” and “Syrga salu”, which carry a lot of information about the intent of these customs, rites and rituals, their importance in the moral education of youth. The festive atmosphere of the event was supported by the beautiful national dresses of the students of the foreign department, as well as musical performances.
