Curator hour on the topic: “The influence of ecology on the human body”

Population health is the most important factor in the socio-economic development of the state and society. It is determined not only by the absence of disease, but also by the ability to quickly adapt to constantly changing living conditions, environmental changes and emerging climatic and natural conditions.

Over the past 10-15 years, there has been a steady trend toward an increase in the frequency and severity of environmental factors negatively affecting humans, which leads to increased morbidity and additional mortality of the population. Diseases caused by environmental pollution are a serious problem. They cause an increase in cancer, lead to allergic reactions, and the immune system suffers greatly.

To improve the quality of life of the population in a changing climate, it is necessary to reduce mortality and reduce the number and severity of diseases caused by the influence of the environment. Promising directions here are mitigation of adverse external impacts on health and adaptation to them through a system of preventive measures. These include monitoring, analysis and forecasting of the negative complex impact of environmental factors on health; early diagnosis and prevention of diseases.

April 17, 2024 at the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. under the leadership of the curator of the department Sydykova K.T. Students of the 208th group of the specialty “Dentistry” held a curatorial hour on the topic:  “The influence of ecology on the human body”.

The curatorial hour was very fruitful and interesting; the students prepared a presentation on the factors of environmental pollution and their impact on the human body. Students discussed caring for nature and protecting the environment.

Education and training of students in the field of the environment is currently one of the priority areas of work with youth. It is achieved through a complex of environmental and environmental education, including education as the socialization of the individual, environmental and environmental propaganda.
