On April 19, 2024, the XVII International Congress “Man and Medicine – Kazakhstan” was held in Ust–Kamenogorsk. Its main goal is to bring together professionals with a wide range of scientific skills and interests, to ensure the interaction of practicing clinicians, scientists, pharmacologists, representatives of regulatory authorities in order to improve approaches to patient treatment.

The program of the 2024 Congress included a number of sessions on the most relevant areas of practical medicine: preventive medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, etc. The most important tasks were identified as improving the safety, accessibility and quality of medicines, as well as overcoming import dependence on foreign medicines and medical equipment. Neuropathologists, internists, GP doctors, as well as interns of the 7th year GP of the Department of General Medical Practice of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch together with the curator Sh.D. Yensibayeva took part in this event. The Congress allowed the participants to get acquainted with the best medical practices and use the experience of colleagues in their own work
