The feat of our heroes

The feat of our heroes

The memory of the Great Patriotic War should be alive and constant.  The Great Patriotic War claimed millions of lives and left deep wounds in the hearts of many families. To remember and honor the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the freedom of our country is a manifestation of respect and recognition of their feat.

On the eve of Victory Day, curators, mentors of the Department of Dental Disciplines and ChLH held curatorial hours, where they remembered their heroes. Mentor Suleimeneva D.M. and a group of interns from the 607 group discussed the fate and feat of the “Hero of the Soviet Union” commander of the rifle platoon of the 674 infantry regiment of the 150th Infantry Division, Lieutenant Koshkarbayev Rakymzhan. Admiring the heroic feat, the famous writer Boris Gorbatov wrote the following: “Indeed, it’s time to stop comparing the soldiers of our army with eagles and golden eagles. What golden eagle can compare with Kazakh Koshkarbayev, who, in front of my eyes, together with other comrades, hoisted the Banner of Victory over the Reichstag. To show such a hero, you need a completely different poetic structure, different images, different poetry.”

To serve the Motherland, to defend the Fatherland was a matter of honor for Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich Nurmagambetov. He would have turned 100 on May 25.

During the curatorial hour, the interns of the 607 group discussed the heroic biography of the first holder of the title “Halyk Kaharmany”, the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, the first army general Sagadat Nurmagambetov, who played a crucial role in the creation and formation of the Armed Forces, forever inscribed in the history of our country. Sagadat Nurmagambetov was not only a courageous warrior, but also a creative person. He wrote memoir books “Facing the Fire”, “My cutting edge”, “From the fiery years to the sovereign army”, “And there is no silence in memory”. Today, streets in the cities of Kazakhstan and military educational institutions are named after him, monuments, plaques and museums have been opened. There is a bust of Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich in the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow.

The lessons of the past help us build a peaceful future and maintain peace and stability. The memory of the Great Patriotic War contributes to the formation of patriotic feelings and pride in their country. It helps us realize that our freedom and well-being are expensive, and we must appreciate them, as well as take care of the achievements and historical heritage of our people.
