This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Khalyk Kakarmany, the first Minister of Defense of independent Kazakhstan, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov, as well as Khalyk Kakarmany Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev, who hoisted the Victory Banner over the Reichstag.

And on the eve of the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day, as well as within the framework of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the war hero, the first Minister of Defense S. Nurmagambetov and Khalyk Kakharmana R. Koshkarbaev and in order to popularize their personalities, on May 6, 2024 at the Department of Biochemistry and chemical disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. A conversation was held with the students about the exploits and invaluable contribution of these heroes. The purpose of the conversation was to formulate students’ ideas about civic duty, courage, and heroism; evoke a feeling of admiration and pride for the exploits performed by Soviet people during the war and in peacetime; show the role of self-education in the formation of moral fortitude, masculinity, a sense of duty and responsibility to society and evoke the desire to cultivate will, determination, and moral beauty. The caring attitude of the older generation towards the fate of their Motherland should become a shining example of patriotism and the strength of the people’s faith for everyone!
