On May 8, 2024 the teachers of the department of epidemiology and biostatistics – Kanat Didara Kanatkyzy, Tukinova Assel Rishatovna and Ordabayeva Inabat Nurlanovna, together with the students of 4422 group of specialty “General Medicine”, organized a joint clean-up day within the action “Taza Kazakhstan” in the Medical and Social Institution for the elderly and disabled of general type in Semey city.

The purpose of the event was not only to improve the appearance and landscaping of the territory, but also to create a friendly atmosphere and mutual assistance between generations. In the morning, participants gathered at the entrance of the nursing home, where they were met by the staff of the institution. After a brief briefing and assignment of duties, students and faculty members got to work. The participants of the event worked with great diligence and enthusiasm, thanks to their efforts the territory of the nursing home acquired a new look.

Thus, the joint clean-up day within the framework of the action “Taza Kazakhstan” of students and teachers in the nursing home became an example of how young people and experienced professionals can combine their efforts to create a more comfortable and caring environment for the elderly.
