On May 12, 2024 the teacher of the department of propaedeutics of children’s diseases Muratova F.K. with the curatorial group 3625 “General Medicine” visited the “Biological Centre” of Semey city.
The Biological Centre was founded in 1938 as a station of “Young Naturalists”. It is favourably located in a unique natural zone, rich in diversity of floristic and zoological collection. The centre includes more than 100 species of indoor plants, 26 species of medicinal plants, 40 species of trees and shrubs, more than 100 species of flower and ornamental and 80 varieties of vegetable crops, about 80 species of animals and birds. Many biology and ecology clubs make it possible to build a comprehensive work on environmental education for all segments of the population. Foreign students were very interested in visiting local sightseeing. The excursion to the biological centre left unforgettable impressions and a lot of positive emotions among the students.
