On June 5, 2024, the Abay Regional Department of Education held a regional forum “The Road to the Future” at the gymnasium No. 37 named after Ybyray Altynsarin in Semipalatinsk. With the participation of the heads of the education department of the Abay region, cultural and artistic figures, athletes, public figures and famous people of our time. The forum participants discussed topical issues on which the future of children depends and gave useful advice.  The acting head of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Professor S.O. Tapbergenov, Ph.D., Professor of RAE Olzhayeva Rauza Romanovna took part in the forum on behalf of NJSC “MUS”. The purpose of the forum was to broaden the horizons of children and provide guidance on choosing a profession in the future. Olzhaeva R.R., presented a video clip about the medical university to the forum participants, distributed booklets to schoolchildren from different schools in the city with information about what medical profession students can choose in the future, and answered a number of questions. At the end of the event, the forum participants were awarded letters of gratitude for raising topical issues of the future of children and guidance on choosing a profession.               Olzhayeva R.R.
