On June 10, 2024, the final meeting of the Student Scientific Circle “Public Health” took place at the Department of Public Health. The event gathered students and teachers to summarize the results of the past academic year and discuss plans for the future.

Nazym Iskakova, responsible for research and development of the department, opened the meeting with words of gratitude to all participants for active participation and support during the year. She noted a significant increase in the number of participants and the successful realization of many activities, such as participation in scientific-practical conferences, Olympiads of republican and international level. According to the results of the academic year the students of SSC published more than 15 theses, 6 reports at conferences, 2 first places, 8 participants and prize-winners of Olympiads, as well as a startup project of students was won on grant financing of our university.

Special attention was paid to successful projects, which were recognized at the level of the university and even beyond its borders. After the report on the work done, the members of the circle took the floor. They shared their impressions, talked about their experience and expressed their suggestions for improving the work of the circle next year. Among the suggestions were ideas to expand the activities, attract new participants and establish cooperation with other university organizations.

We congratulate all members of the student circle on the successful completion of the academic year and wish them new achievements and interesting projects in the next one!
