The instructors of the urology discipline at the Department of Surgical Disciplines held a curatorial hour with the groups on the topic: The Issue of Nuclear Power Plant Construction and Participation in the Referendum.

In the supervised groups, they discussed the economic feasibility of having nuclear energy, the factors influencing the prospects for the development of the nuclear industry, and the necessity of reducing dependence on fossil resources. The head of the department, Candidate of Medical Sciences Kudaerbaev M.T., emphasized the importance of participating in the referendum, where every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan should express their opinion on the issue being put to a vote. Voting is confidential, and voters are prohibited from being required to disclose or justify their choice.
