On October 15, 2024, the first meeting of the student scientific circle on neurology in 2024-2025 was held at the UH NCJSC “SMU”. The event was organized by the assistant of the department of neurology, ophthalmology and otolaryngology Filippova N.A. The meeting was attended by 3rd-5th year students, residents, assistants of the department. Welcoming remarks were made by assistants of the department Kirillova E.V., Akhmetkalieva Sh.B., Kulabukhova N.S.

During the meeting, such issues as the selection of new participants, the work plan of the circle for 2024-2025, preparation for the SSC fair were discussed. The students were familiarized with the topics of the upcoming meetings. A wide list of topics for future research was also presented.

Then the members of the circle took the floor, talking about the topics, which they would like to study as part of the work of the circle. The students actively discussed with the teachers, asked questions and showed interest in science. Based on the results of the discussion, the final version of the work plan of the SSC was formed, the next meeting was planned, and those responsible for preparing thematic reports were selected.

The closing speech was given by the head teacher of the department, Bikbaev R.M., who told the students about the strategy of choosing a topic for scientific research, and wished the participants success in their future scientific work.

The final stage of the meeting was the election of the secretary of the SSC. The circle has begun its work!
